CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEER
HOT new opportunity available for a Chemical Process Engineer to work as part of a site team for a leading EPC.
- The Chemical Process Engineer will be responsible for providing Process Engineering support for a new project P&ID and equipment verification
- Prepare process engineering deliverables
- Perform non-chemical equipment and process engineering projects
- Plan layouts for chemical manufacturing processes
- Reporting and optimizing chemical costs
- Modify, and maintain chemical processes
- Apply principles of chemical engineering to solve environmental problems
- Identify suitable chemical agents or improve existing chemical process procedures to provide optimum processing methods
- Provide chemical engineering support for paint and anodize systems
- Prepare and coordinate chemical notifications, toxicology, physico-chemical testing and product registrations for the jurisdictions where chemical notification schemes
- Implement chemical safety education and training to the plant to ensure plant operations and production
- Providing technical and engineering expertise on all chemical and environmental requirements
- Develop and execute chemical and finishing process control plans
- Develop, designs and test chemical processes, equipment and systems, applying principles and techniques of chemical engineering
- Perform the selection and evaluation of chemicals, chemical compounds, and chemical devices
- Utilized in production plant processes
- Manage the process of manufacturing chemical products in wax blending and refining
- Improve and assure product safety and chemical compliance performance
- Provide chemical engineering expertise in the design and development of new or improved products and processes
- Develop processes for pilot plant and plant operations
- Ordering the proper chemical and starch delivery systems
- Instructing chemical operators in the operation of new or revised manufacturing systems
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
5-10 years of experience
