COMPUTER TECHNICIAN


(hardware - Windows 10)

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying lease replacements computers consisting of the company standard core operating environment image, as well as assisting with data transfer, software reinstalls, and shipping/receiving logistics of assets for our internal customers. Additionally, the candidate may be asked to assist with other initiatives and projects in flight, inclusive of hot desk setup. The following duties are to be expected:



  • Follow documented processes to deploy the company image

  • Follow a checklist of actions to ready computers for deployment

  • Ensure proper tracking of assets through defined processes and asset management systems

  • Ongoing communication with internal customers, stakeholders, and IT teams

  • Work well under pressure and must be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and possess the ability to work in an ad-hoc/dynamic, fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines

  • Meet established weekly/monthly targets

  • Possess the ability to exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations

  • Maintain a professional appearance


 


Required Qualifications :

Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 1+ years of experience.



  • Experience with imaging computers

  • Deep understanding of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office with demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities

  • Proven desktop, laptop and workstation hardware trouble shooting skills

  • End user data migration experience between PC’s

  • Motivated to perform the work as required each day with a desire to improve

  • The ability to work independently within established guidelines

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of users

  • Flexibility to support the business across multiple locations

  • The candidate must be dependable, well organized and accountable

  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Provide excellent customer service and demonstrates poise in intense or stressful situations

  • Participate as part of a larger team
