The Manager - Product Engineering (Electrical) will:


  • Lead the development team in the development of creative and cost-effective switching solutions to solve customer’s distribution grid reliability problems.

  • Oversee development of switching devices that use magnetic-based actuators.

  • Manage work pertinent to product design including requirement analysis, specifications, design, implementation, testing and related documentation.

  • Create project schedules, task and project completion time estimates, and managing the FA development team to deliver projects on time and of high quality.

  • Interface with the Product Management team to define new products and features

  • Work with the Production Operations team to implement new designs in production.

  • Coach the development team members to ensure a high level of productivity, performance and skill development.




Required Qualifications :

To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following:

  • BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.  Electrical preferred.

  • Expertise in electro-mechanical assembly, fabrication, and mechanical assembly.

  • Experience with developing switching devices that use magnetic-based actuators.

  • Strong leadership abilities with good interpersonal and communication skills and able to motivate others and set goals.

  • Minimum of ten years' experience in product development.

  • Minimum of five years' experience leading development teams.
