Chemical Process Engineer Manager
Under broad direction, this position is responsible for all phases of planning and execution of a project or may be responsible for a segment of a larger project.
Plans, organizes, coordinates and controls projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.
Has responsibility for day-to-day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction.
Possesses knowledge of the respective industry including Petrochemicals, Refining, Chemicals, LNG, Energy Transition etc. ranging in scope from pre-FEED, FEED to EPCM.
Supervises personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders. May also serve as the proposal manager of medium-sized projects.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.
- Attention to detail and the ability to ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in using standard office software like Microsoft Office Suite.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering degree preferred.
- 10 – 20 years of relevant experience
- 15 – 25 years of overall experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to function within a project team.
- Will comply with all KBR and site safety policies and procedures.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, if necessary.
