DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the Lead Chemical Process Safety Engineer
This Chemical Process Safety Engineer has supervisory / lead responsibility over a group of process safety engineers or functions as a technical specialist who develops and applies advanced process safety engineering concepts and approaches to unusual or exceptionally complex engineering problems. This position requires minimal supervision to accomplish tasks. Skill set should include experience supporting the following activities: facilitate process safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP), dispersion modelling, plot plan safety reviews. This Chemical Process Safety Engineer also has a firm understanding of Building Siting Studies / QRA's.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a minimum of fifteen years of experience, but individuals typically possess 20+ years of experience.
