HOT new job opportunity available in Baltimore. Work for a leader in Financial Services. We are seeking a 3rd Party Risk Management - Supplier Oversight - Sr. Analyst.


Responsibilities of the 3rd Party Risk Management - Supplier Oversight - Sr. Analyst include:


  • Elicit and analyze third party risk and performance information from business stakeholders

  • Establish strong partnership with business stakeholders (Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Cyber Risk) as well as internal functions to understand business processes and identify, manage, and mitigate risk

  • Analysis and presentation of third party performance issues or other risk concerns to cross-functional work groups as well as senior management

  • Coordinate and lead cross functional Third Party review meetings. Prepare presentation materials

  • Analyze a high volume of third party relationships and create reporting analysis

  • Conduct third party assessments of affiliate partner program and facilitate reviews with Legal and Compliance

  • Execute due diligence and ongoing monitoring of the affiliate partner program

  • Ensure compliance with Third Party Risk Management program, policy, and procedures as well as compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Enhance third party oversight processes and implement improvement initiatives

  • Assist with internal and external reviews as needed

  • Remain well-informed of changes to the regulatory environment and industry best practices related to management and oversight of third parties

  • Maintain and document changes to internal policies and procedures, including third party oversight and affiliate partner program procedures, and job aids

  • Provide project support and act as project manager for initiatives and projects


Required Qualifications :




  • Bachelor’s Degree (required) with 2+ years of relevant experience; ideally in Vendor/Third Party Risk Management, Operational Risk and/or Compliance

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data with attention to detail and accuracy to analyze complex business data developing automated tools and help identify problems.

  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas and pivot tables), PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

  • Ability to identify, measure, monitor and analyze third party risk information

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to gain trust and achieve business objectives

  • Ability to work in fast-paced ever-changing environment and the ability to juggle an array of tasks and individuals on tight timelines

  • Experience with third party vendor lifecycle and/or third party risk management process preferred

  • Familiarity with CFPB Bulletins 2012-03, 2016-02, and other related regulatory guidance, also preferred

  • Third Party Risk Management Certification or Operational Audit experience a plus
