Sr. EXTERNAL AUDITOR

We're seeking an External Auditor to work with a leader that's thriving in providing audit, tax and consulting to nursing facilities, retirement communities and other healthcare providers on the East Coast.

Responsibilities of the Sr. External Auditor include:

• Providing project management - leading and overseeing audit projects to deliver high quality results on time and within budget


• Conduct on-site audits, collecting evidence and performing tests on financial data and transactions


• Prepare and maintain detailed working papers to document audit procedures, findings and conclusions.


• Perform analysis of financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP, GAAS accounting standards


• Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information, clarify questions and discuss findings


• Drafting audit reports, that highlight findings and recommendations

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Certification Required


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field


• 5+ years of experience working in an external audit and public accounting environment


• Strong organizational skills. Able to manage multiple engagements in a fast paced environment
